Portfolio

Creativity and expression is a constant in the lives of artists, where inspiration and subject matter abounds. And Jordan's chosen media for this human endeavour is painting and photography, with new ideas and projects always on the go. This is about having a craft and honing that craft as much as it is about making art.

Fine Art Prints

Some of Jordan's images can be purchased as fine art prints of extremely high quality and available in various sizes, mounted or unmounted, framed or unframed, along with natural objects for wall decor and rare items. Look out for limited edition giclee prints on a variety of papers.

“...all the plain was spotted with a variegated crowd of coaches, Wains and Travellers, horse and foot Wading beneath the conduct of their Guide in loose procession through the shallow stream of inland water, the great sea meanwhile was at a safe distance...”  – Wordsworth

Look out for upcoming exhibitions

Details of any new or upcoming exhibition, current projects, and general information will be added to this site.

Good visual art can enrich people's lives and brighten their homes, offering a good balance or complete alternative to the relentless bombardment of imagery and noise from televisions and other technology.

Mass Media drivel and constantly changing nonsense is of no benefit.

Notes on The Wildfire & Additional Info

Around forty-plus DSLR photos make up a visual record of this event, showing how Jordan is an ever present photographer responding to changes in much-loved areas. A decade later, with wildfires of unprecedented scale dominating the news, the same land will still be recovering. And whilst these are a natural occurrence, they are also deliberate acts and now more devastatingly frequent. Chicks, rare flowers and moorland grasses growing from the peat had perished.

Bay Walking & Wildlife Spotting

Some of Jordan's walks across the Bay have been recorded using a GPS tracking app called Strava, and you can find out more information on his blog on this site.

Organised Cross-Bay charity walks are held each year, and it's not generally advisable to attempt the crossing alone without an understanding of the area.

Current & future subject matter for drawings & paintings include most of the wading birds found in areas such as the bay where they thrive.
